Frequently Asked Questions about Catered Living.
What is Catered Living?
Catered Living is an increasingly popular service provided by many Continuing Care Retirement Communities and luxury retirement resorts. These services are popular nation wide and are almost always requested by residents desiring enhanced health care programs.
Our concept of Catered Living will enable you to remain at Bermuda Village and retain independence. This monthly rental service includes moderate assistance with the activities of daily living and special assistance as required. Catered Living is the perfect alternative to prematurely moving to an assisted living or nursing facility.
The Bermuda Village Catered Living "Neighborhood" answers questions like: "What do I do when I need extra help?"; "I'm not ready for assisted living but my spouse needs more care." The program also addresses family concerns like "We just don't feel comfortable with Mom living all alone when she may need help bathing, dressing, preparing food, or taking her medication."
Our plan is simple -- to provide a "community within a community" that will enable you to remain independent while avoiding costly outside nursing assistance.
